Good study card app.

Probably better ways to develop an APP. But this one is a decent way to Kearney a tremendous amount of words. Memorizing words IS the first step to learning a language.

Love this app! Very helpful when it comes to learning vocabulary since it keeps track of the words youve studied the most and have learned best! Would definitely recommend it to anybody learning Italian!

One of the best support tools to learn Italian. Without vocabulary there is little one ca say, this app is essential for vocabulary learning and practice. The words that I keep forgetting about, this app instinctively keeps them in mind and brings them back up again. Very smart. It also tracks the total time studied, it is nice to put in 5 and 10 minutes here and there and know that after two days Ive done 1.3 hours of work, it helps to keep track.

I am enjoying this app - glad I found it. I feel like the processes are effective for me learning and more importantly me remembering the words I am excited to start forming sentences and conversations in Italian

Great for adding lots of general vocabulary in conjunction with use of apps like memrise. By itself, its maybe a bit light on verbs, but that just means theres more room for other kinds of words that youll eventually need as long as you get those verbs on Memrise. Perfect for the intermediate learner, as its easy to x out words that are familiar to you, removing them from study sessions. It also has an engaging interface, nice statistical feedback, and some great features such as the ability to either let it bring up words randoly, or select from its categories manually. All in all, it definitely warrants the few dollars spent.

Recently, I finished all five levels of Rosetta Stone and, while I did, indeed, learn a lot, those five levels were spread over a full year of learning. I realized, when I would go back to spot check myself with particular lessons in a level, that there were many words that were not included in the end of lesson reviews or "milestones." Im enjoying having this app to review and refresh my memory and, moreover, I am seeing words and expressions that I dont recall seeing in Rosetta Stone at all. So, as a vocabulary building device, I have found this app very helpful. The prompts used, the automatic return to words misidentified, and the repetitive structure have all been surprisingly effective and useful. Probably not great for the fluent speaker, but I am intermediate, at best, and rather pleased.

Good to expand the vocabulary.

This app is a wonderful addition to anyone learning Italian. Its fast, its easy, and its actually addictive. The sound files are good, and the pictures are appropriate. Its the type of thing I was looking for because I am a flash card fanatic, so this allows me to learn vocabulary my preferred way while adding a photo or two for association. If I had one complaint, its that I would like to see singular and plural versions, and maybe the definite article used more. Its a minor thing, just how I make my cards, but thats just my personal method and I know everyone is different.

Waste. Once on a screen, I could not get off of it.

This app was the last piece I needed to rapidly expand my Italian vocabulary. I use it along with a couple of other wonderful apps to finally learn the Italian all those expensive books couldnt teach me. This one plus Doulingo may be all you need to get a great foundation going.
